The staff of Crestwood Animal Hospital is second to none. Our veterinarians, management team, and support staff are committed to providing thorough, personalized care for your pets.

Our Veterinarians

Charissa Rexroad, DVM

Charissa Rexroad , DVMDr. Charissa Rexroad grew up in Oldham County. She attended Georgetown College for her undergraduate studies and then went to Auburn University, where she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1998. She practiced emergency medicine for three years before joining our practice in May 2001. Dr. Rexroad is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Kentucky Veterinary Medical Association and the Greater Louisville Veterinary Medical Association. She and her husband, Kerry, are the proud parents of five cats and a lab mix named Lindy. In her spare time, she enjoys golfing, running and shopping.


Teresa Gregory, DVM

Teresa Gregory, DVM Dr. Teresa Gregory grew up in Morehead, Ky. She attended Morehead State University, receiving her bachelor's degree in biology. She attended Auburn University, receiving her Doctor in Veterinary Medicine degree in 1992. Dr Gregory is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Kentucky Veterinary Medical Association, the Association of Avian Veterinarians, the Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians and the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians. She is the mother of a teen-aged son named Nicholas and many feathered and furred pets. She spends her spare time spaying/neutering rescue pets, birding, baking and making preserves. In 2011, Dr. Gregory spayed or neutered 3,181 dogs, cats, rabbits and rats on her days off.


Jerry Suddeth, DVM

Jerry Suddeth, DVM Dr. Jerry Suddeth was born and raised in Louisville. He attended St. Xavier High School and Hanover College prior to his acceptance to Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine. During his senior year at Hanover, he worked with us at Crestwood as a veterinary technician. A 2010 graduate of Auburn, Dr. Suddeth enjoys dermatology, surgery, emergency medicine and companion exotic pet medicine. He and his wife, Stephanie, have a family of two dogs Ð Abby, a lab mix, and Izzy, an English Mastiff Ð and an African Grey Parrot named Duncan. In his spare time he enjoys golfing, watching college and professional sports and spending time with family and friends.


Our Managers

Debbie Croak, Practice Manager

Debbie CroakDebbie Croak joined Crestwood Animal Hospital in 1994 because of her love for animals. With a desire to learn as much as possible, she quickly moved to a receptionist/technician position and has been the practice manager since 1998. She is a member of the American Animal Hospital Association and the Veterinary Hospitals Managers Association. She and her husband, Paul, share their home with four dogs, toy poodles named Jacks and Boo, Sully, a golden doodle, and Braille, a blind border collie. They also have four cats, a blue-headed pionus named Cricket, a cinnamon green-cheeked conure named Truffles and a lovebird named Henry. She enjoys spending time with her "animal family," camping and reading.


Tracey Martin, Client Care Technician Team Leader

Tracey MartinTracey Martin is a client care team leader and has worked at our hospital since 2004. She was born and raised in England and immigrated with her parents to Minnesota, where she lived for 15 years. She, her husband, Troy, and son, Austin, have enjoyed living in Kentucky since 2000. They share their home with four cats -- Snitches, Yugi, George and Azula -- along with a Shih Tzu mix named Sophie. She enjoys movies, spending time with her family and traveling.


Paige Tharpe, RVT, Medical Care Technician Team Leader

Paige Tharpe, RVT Paige Tharpe is a medical care team leader. She is a registered veterinary technician and has been working in the field for more than 20 years. She believes that this is the best vocation in the world and loves all species large, small and exotic. Her two passions in veterinary medicine are behavior and clinical pathology. She has a special-need kitty, Mary Weebles and a boxer puppy, Liesel. She is a mother of two wonderful boys and she and her husband enjoy gardening and outdoor activities.


Mary Quire, Medical Care Technician Team Leader

Mary QuireMary Quire is a medical care team leader and has worked at our hospital since 2001. She lives in Henry County with her husband, a dog, two cats, and a snake. She is the author of "Link Detonator," "Detonator Time's Up" and "Dark Deliverance." More information can be found on her Web site:


Ginnie Robbins, Animal Care Technician Team Leader

Ginnie Robbins, Team LeaderGinnie Robbins, our animal care team leader, has lived in Louisville for five years. She is certified by the Pet Care Association and enjoys working with each pet in her care. She spends time with her rescued pit bull, Loke, and her two cats, Pandora and Rikku. She loves learning about exotics and in her spare time enjoys painting and reading.


Lisa Kratt, Inventory Manager

Lisa Kratt, Inventory ManagerLisa Kratt is our inventory manager and also works as a client care team member. She has been here since spring of 2006. She is from Owensboro, Ky., is a graduate of Murray State University and has lived in Crestwood since 2001. She and her husband, Bob, have four sons, twins Tyler and Adam, plus Sam and Benjamin. Her family also includes two gerbils named Gandy and Timone. In her spare time she enjoys Zumba, reading and camping with her family.


Our Support Staff

Amy Ashby, LVT, Medical Care Team

Amy Ashby, LVTAmy Ashby is a medical care team member. She is a licensed veterinary technician, graduated from Morehead State University's veterinary technology program in 2005. She likes to sing, ride four-wheelers and dirt bikes, rehabilitate baby squirrels and spend time with friends and family. She is the proud mother of a Great Dane named Gracie and two cats -- Dallas and Hydro. She was born and raised in Milton, Ky.


Moira Fauth, Medical Care Team

Moira FauthMoira Fauth was born and raised in Louisville and has been a medical care team member here since 2006. She first started out as a receptionist in 1998. She has been married for five years and together they have a small animal family. Her favorite part of the job is knowing that she is helping to create a better, healthier world.


Rita Windler, Medical Care Team

Rita WindlerRita Windler is a technician on our medical care team. She started working in our kennel and filled in for our groomer before moving into a technician position in 2006. She grew up in Northwest Indiana and has a bachelor's degree from Purdue University. She and her husband, Chris, moved to Oldham County in October 2001. They have two boys in school. They also share their home with two dogs, Ozzy and Keesha, and four cats, Melanie, Bill, George and Peggy. Her love of animals brought her here in August 2004. Since then Rita has become certified in pet nutrition. She is our resident expert on the highest quality food for your pet.


La'Monica Jackson, Medical Care Team

La’Monica JacksonLa'Monica Jackson is a graduate of Brown Mackie College of Louisville, is a Navy veteran and mother of three children. She joined the medical care team in 2010. Her family includes her cats, her dogs, her bunnies and her iguana, Dragon. She enjoys horror movies and various styles of music, but relaxing and eating constitute an all-time favorite.


Kelly Paul, Medical Care Team

Kelly PaulKelly Paul is a medical care team member. She grew up in a military family and traveled the majority of her childhood. Her hometown is Murfreesboro, Tenn. It is there that she started working in veterinary medicine and dentistry. In her spare time she enjoys knitting, reading and spending time with her husband, Jeremy, and son, Logan.


Jen Deckard, Client Care Team

Jen DeckardJen Deckard has been a client care team member at our hospital for several years. She graduated with a degree in graphic design from a division of Sullivan University and is back in school again at Indiana University Southeast for an elementary teaching degree. Her close-knit family consists of Tim and two cats named Skillet and Ike. She enjoys reading and horseback riding in her spare time.


Theresa Webb, Client Care Team

Theresa WebbTheresa Webb is a client care team member at our hospital. She grew up in the Louisville area and has a bachelor's degree from the University of Louisville. She and her husband, Geoff, have two boys, Samuel and Jackson. They share their home with two Jack Russell terriers, Cosmo and Boomer, four cats, Bijoux, Jerry, Trixie and Murphy, and a cockatiel named Nora Jones. She enjoys spending time with her boys, camping, swimming, hiking and watching U of L sports.


Lauren Bishop, Client Care Team

Lauren BishopLauren Bishop has been a client care team member at our hospital since November 2010. She has three dogs, Ollie, a PBGV, and Lilly and Jo Jo, both Westies. She also has a full-time job as a youth minister at a local church where she keeps busy with over 30 teenagers. She enjoys movies of all kinds, especially Bollywood musicals and old Hollywood musicals. If she could live inside any movie it would be "Hello, Dolly!" with Barbra Streisand.


Adrienne Gerdes, Client Care Team

Lauren BishopAdrienne Gerdes joined the client care team in November 2011. She grew up in New York, where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in nursing. She and her family moved to Kentucky in 2002 after living in Maryland for 10 years. She currently lives in Crestwood with her husband, Jim, and two sons, Zack and Max. They share their home with Sadie, an 11-year-old chocolate lab, and a tank full of fish. In her spare time she enjoy spending time with her family, reading, movies and volunteering as a part-time puppy trainer/applicant coordinator for Paws with Purpose, a local service dog organization. At her church and in her neighborhood, she is known as the "dog lady" because at any given time she can be found with at least one dog at her side.


Lorna Grim, Animal Care Team

Lorna GrimLorna Grim has been an animal care team member here on and off since 2007. She has been with the Oldham County schools for the last three years but because of her love for animals decided to come back to Crestwood Animal Hospital full-time. She lives on a mini farm in Goshen with her husband, two of three children and a menagerie of animals including horses, a cow, goats, chickens, a miniature donkey, dogs and cats.


Leshia Woods-Jensen, Grooming Assistant

Leshia Woods-JensenLeshia Woods-Jensen started working at the hospital as a bather and has enjoyed the work as well as the staff. She moved to Louisville from Florida three years ago. She is married and has two stepsons, Daniel, 17, and Dusten, 16, and three dogs - Grace, a Chihuahua, Kira, a spitz mix, and Riddick, a min pin - as well as a cat named Haylee. She served seven years on active duty and two years as a reserve in the Marine Corps and has a black belt in tae kwon do.


Sheri Al-Jabari, Groomer

Sheri Al-Jabari, GroomerSheri Al-Jabari, the hospital's groomer, has been involved in the pet industry for more than 20 years and has more than 10 years of experience working specifically with veterinary clinics. She graduated from the Michigan School of Canine Cosmetology in 1991. She specializes in hand scissoring and grooms both dogs and cats. She is a single mother of two boys, Amir and Jimmy, and has many pets to complete the family. Animals are her passion.


Adam Kratt, Animal Care Technician

Adam KrattAdam Kratt has been an animal care team member here since December 2009. He is currently a sophomore majoring in environmental health at Western Kentucky University. He is also an Eagle Scout and thoroughly enjoys outdoor activities. His favorite part of his job is handling the big, rambunctious dogs.


Whitney Walker, Animal Care Technician

Whitney WalkerWhitney Walker is an animal care team member here and enjoys working with the animals and her co-workers. She moved from Bullitt County to Oldham in the third grade and is a junior at South Oldham High School. She plans to go to the University of Kentucky and then to Auburn University in hopes of becoming a veterinarian. She has two dogs, Brittany and Jessie, and four cats -- Garfield, Tigger, Sammy and Chloe -- though Jessie is the only animal that lives with her.
