Outstanding experience with the entire team here, on a Sunday too! They were quick to get our dog in, kept us up to date the entire time and were incredible reasonable on pricing. I cannot say enough good things about our experience here, just so thankful and appreciative.
Since losing our past vet in Shelbyville KY, which in itself was very traumatic since we had all three of our dogs there for over 5 years. But coming to Crestwood Animal Hospital we were welcomed with open arms. Trying to make the transition as easy as possible. We have felt welcome and our dogs are safe with these folks. The only problem is the travel distance of 35 miles which is NOT the fault of Crestwood Animal Hospital, it is just a burden we have to live with to make sure our dogs get the BEST care.
My sweet bunny was in distress and the vet she had seen in the past was unavailable and none of the other veterinarians would see her even though they said she needed to be seen immediately. I called Crestwood Animal Hospital and was asked how quickly I could get there. My precious girl was rushed right back, and she is on the road to recovery. Nobody made me feel uncomfortable for crying in the waiting room as I sat in fear of loosing an important family member. Freya will not be going anywhere but Crestwood Animal Hospital in the future.
Crestwood Animal Hospital staff were amazing when our salamander was very ill. They got us in the same day when we had never been there before. They were incredibly respectful. I had to call the next day with a question and they were helpful and kind. Worth the trip from Spencer County for sure.
I originally choose this place because it is where my sister took her pets. They take amazing care of my animals. Their pet care plans make annual well care easier to afford. They make recommendations but do understand financial burdens can limit what some pet parents can do and have offered alternatives like physical therapy exercises I can do at home with my dog since I can’t afford to bring him in for it. They understand that my pets are family and care for them like they are. When I had to say goodbye to my cat they took their time and gently explained everything and gave me all the time I needed to love her before letting go. I pass two other vet offices to see them and I can’t imagine going anywhere else with my fur babies.
Our tiny Dwarf Robo Hamster started having seizures and we didn’t know where else to turn. Crestwood Animal Hospital was able to squeeze us in and got us a quick diagnosis. Unfortunately, he couldn’t be saved, and the staff helped us through that difficult decision. Even though he wasn’t their typical cat/dog patient, we were treated with such care and compassion. Thank you!
Crestwood helped us with this snapping turtle that had swallowed a fishing line. Also, they are always super nice people answering the phone. I appreciate all the work they do for animals in our community!
